Now, Mac and Bloo have to work together to make a bigger, crazier sequel for a film contest. A girl named Goo with an over-active imagination is filling up the house with hundreds of Imaginary Friends. When the annoying, demanding and very loud Duchess gets adopted by Mac's neighbors, Bloo and Mac have to get her back into Foster's before Mac's mom moves the family far across town!
Terrence then pays a visit of his own, dressed to make a good impression. Duchess creates a diversion by provoking one of the Extremeasauruses , leaving Bloo alone with Terrence. As Mac is on his way to Foster's the next day, Terrence stops him from reaching Foster's, carries him back home and locks him in the bedroom closet. Fed up with Mr. Herriman's strict ways, the friends devise a plan to "mellow him out", but when it works and he starts slacking off, Foster's starts to fall apart! Now, they are forced to put things right and turn him back into his old stodgy self.

However, Frankie tells them that if he stays there, he will be eligible for adoption whenever Mac is not around. Mac promises to stop by after school and departs, taking Coco's eggs with him, leaving Bloo alone with his new housemates who show him their bedroom where he will be sleeping at. Seeing Bloo about sleep on the floor, Wilt lets him take his bunk in exchange for sleeping on the floor and they all fall asleep for the night.
The next day, Mac and Bloo stop in at the sprawling mansion and are met by Mr. Herriman, the strict business manager. After Bloo explains the situation in comically exaggerated detail, they are given a tour of the house. Frankie, the caregiver, is about to show Mac and Bloo around; however, she is soon called away by the ill-tempered, high-maintenance resident Duchess. Basketball-loving Wilt takes over the tour and introduces Mac and Bloo to the wide variety of imaginary friends that live in the house.

Mac and Bloo are left alone in the Foster's house and try to have the best day of their lives. Adopt-a-thought Saturday is a great day when Imaginary Friends try to get adopted by new families. But to Mac and Bloo, it is a dark day when their good friends are taken away from them. Determined to save their friends, Mac and Bloo turn to some drastic measures.
Season 3, Episode 9: Crime After Crime
Sometimes imaginary friends get lost or kids simply outgrow them. That's why Madame Foster started Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. This focuses on Madame Foster's house and its inhabitants waiting to be reunited or adopted by kids. However, as grateful he is for Mac's key role in averting disaster, he still cannot allow Bloo to stay indefinitely and not be adopted.
When Mac does return for Bloo though, his brother Terence finds out and is unhappy. Now, anything that keeps her away from Bloo must be removed even if it's his best friend, Mac. There is one door in Foster's that is never, ever to be opened. Well, that's too tempting for Bloo and the house is soon infested with something unimaginable. But when Frankie tries to take a simple trip to the mall, Bloo and the Gang tag along and are this caregiver's worst nightmare.
Thinking quickly, Mac spitballs at Terrence, who then chases him. Mac meets up with Bloo and advises him about the beginning of the event, before Terrence appears and chases them, anticipating the inevitable. Mac tells Bloo to split away, who obviously assumes that he's abandoning him, but Mac have him to make their turns on separate path and tricking Terrence by turning the monster on the masters that proceed to chase him instead. Before Duchess attempts to stop the Extremeasarurus, Mac and the others drops the vases on her and Terrence's heads , knocking them both out before eaten by the monster, much to Bloo's shock.
After once again having no visitor at the Foster’s Creator Reunion Picnic, a lonely Wilt sets out across country in hopes of reuniting with his long lost creator. Uncertain as to why Wilt left, Bloo and the Foster’s gang set out on a road trip to find him. Hindered by Bloo’s far out theories and Wilt’s overly good nature, the chase takes many unexpected twists and turns and all the while we come to learn about Wilt's mysterious past. “Everyone Knows It’s Bendy” A new Imaginary Friend begins misbehaving all around the house and everyone else is taking the blame. After watching a scary movie on a dark and stormy night, Wilt and Eduardo are sure there is a ghost in the house. Little do they know that it's actually just Bloo who is now ghostly white and snot-ridden with a cold.
Just as the Extremeasurus is about to eat Bloo, Mac and company arrive with the unicorns, which makes Bloo dodge the Extremeasaurus. Terrence mocks Mac and the Unicorns by calling them as "ladies". The Unicorns angrily points their horns at Terrence and he avoids their attack. This Cartoon Network show hits on the ingenious idea of creating a special place where imaginary friends go once children have outgrown them. Madame Foster runs this special home, and the adventures of its inhabitants circle around Mac and Bloo, two long-since-discarded imaginary friends. This release includes every half-hour episode from the show's first season.
He is too late to stop the adoption from going through, but he and the others soon realize that Terrence and Duchess are working together. That evening, Terrence takes Bloo to a junkyard and meets Duchess, who plans to feed Bloo to an Extremeasaurus she freed earlier as revenge for unintentionally foiling her chance of being adopted. They are foiled by the arrival of Mac and company, who manage to save Bloo and trick the monster into turning on its masters.
